The New Texas Symphony Orchestra continues its 2026–2027 “Roots” season with Tradition, a program exploring the customs, stories, and cultural influences passed from one generation to the next.
The program includes the Fiddler on the Roof Overture by Bock and Lang; Cécile Chaminade’s Konzertstück, featuring pianist James Palmer; Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol; and Gabriela Lena Frank’s Three Latin American Dances.
Spanning theatrical, European, Spanish, and Latin American influences, Tradition celebrates the musical inheritances that help communities remember where they came from and understand who they are today.
Admission is free.
