The New Texas Symphony Orchestra presents Spiritual, the third orchestral concert of its 2026–2027 “Roots” season.

The program includes Giovanni Gabrieli’s Canzona Prima a 5; Carlisle Floyd’s Pilgrimage, featuring baritone James Rodriguez; Christopher Theofanidis’ Rainbow Body; and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Symphonic Variations on an African Air.

Through music of pilgrimage, transcendence, heritage, and reflection, Spiritual explores the beliefs and deeper meanings that sustain individuals and communities.
